Terms of Service
Effective October 9, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Casa Cadence [TODO: legal entity name and address] for using casacadence.com and the Casa Cadence app. By using Casa Cadence you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Your account
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Children use Casa Cadence only through profiles a parent or guardian manages.
- You sign in with a passkey or an emailed one-time link. Keep your devices and email secure. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Household owners decide who joins their household and what role they have, and are responsible for the people they invite and the shared links they create.
Your content
What you put into Casa Cadence stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the app for you and the people you share it with. You can export it at any time.
Shared links
Anyone with a shared link can see that list and check off its tasks until the link expires or you turn it off. Only share links with people you trust.
Connected calendars
If you connect Google, Microsoft or iCloud calendars, you allow Casa Cadence to read and write the events you choose to sync. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms. You can disconnect at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't use Casa Cadence to break the law, upload malware, harass people, store content you don't have the right to, or try to access other people's data or disrupt the service.
Plans and payments
Casa Cadence is free while in early access. If we introduce paid plans, we'll show the price before you pay, payments will be handled by Stripe, and we'll never move a feature you already have behind a paywall.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or by emailing hello@casacadence.com. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. We'll give at least 30 days' notice, with time to export, before shutting down the service.
No warranty
Casa Cadence is a reminder tool. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but it's provided “as is.” Don't rely on it alone for safety-critical maintenance, medical or legal deadlines.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Casa Cadence isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [TODO: state], USA.
Changes
We'll update the date above when these terms change, and tell you in advance about important changes.
